Store Credit & Returns Policy

We're committed to providing high-quality Native Australian herbs and ingredients gathered from trusted producers across Country. If something isn't right, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

At Gather Foods, every product is prepared with care, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your order.

Returns and Credits

We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. Here's how we handle returns and store credits:

Please note:

  • Goods must be unopened, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Perishable or temperature-sensitive items (e.g. dried herbs, teas, spices, or blends) can't be returned once opened, unless faulty.
  • We may request photos or batch codes to assess your return.

Store Credit Terms

  • Valid for 60 days from the date of issue.
  • Can be used toward future wholesale orders.
  • Non-transferable and can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Any remaining balance stays active until expiry.
  • Unused credits automatically expire after 60 days.

If you experience delays due to freight or seasonal production issues, please contact us — we may extend expiry at our discretion.

How to Request a Return or Credit

  1. Email us at events@gatherfoods.com.au with your order number, product details, and reason for return.
  2. Our team will assess your request and advise next steps.
  3. Once approved, you'll receive a return authorisation and instructions.
  4. When we receive and verify the goods, your store credit will be issued via email or invoice note.

Your Consumer Rights

This policy works alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, unsafe, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy as required by law.
