Nyoongar cultural experience — ceremony and performance

Honouring those who came before us

Cultural Experiences

Protocol-led ceremonies and immersive storytelling that transform spaces into meaningful places.

Honouring Nyoongar protocols and Traditional Ownership.

Experiential engagement transforms physical sites into "meaningful places" through protocol-led ceremonies and immersive storytelling. We ward off warra wirrin (bad spirits) and welcome kwop wirrin (good spirits) — sanctifying spaces for professional, corporate and community purposes while honouring Nyoongar protocols and Traditional Ownership.

What we offer

Experiences led by recognised knowledge holders.

Welcome to Country

Welcome to Country

Authentic Welcome to Country ceremonies led by Traditional Owners, transforming events, site openings and gatherings into culturally safe spaces. Authorised knowledge holders deliver powerful blessings and acknowledgements — with pre-event consultation, a 15-minute on-site ritual and a thoughtful post-ceremony briefing. Ideal for large events, corporate launches, government functions and infrastructure openings.

Didgeridoo Performances

Didgeridoo Performances

Immerse in the mesmerising drone of the Nyungar didgeridoo (djuderup) — handcrafted from termite-hollowed wood and played with masterful circular breathing. Cultural bearers bring 10–20 minute sets alive with rhythmic vocals, boorloong throat singing and ancestral tales of Country and kinship, scaling from intimate groups to 1,000+ corporate spectacles.

Smoking Ceremony

Smoking Ceremony

Sacred renewal through a Smoking Ceremony, harnessing balga (grass tree) resin and native plants for purification and protection. This 20–30 minute ritual clears negative energies and unites participants with Country, pairing beautifully with a Welcome — ideal for site endorsements, team-building or healing moments steeped in Nyungar lore.

Dancers & Performance

Dancers & Performance

Boorakka Keniy unleashes vibrant Nyungar storytelling through dynamic dance, didgeridoo, body paint and song in 10–30 minute sets. From cosy gatherings (20–50 people) to epic events (500+), custom choreography weaves ancestral narratives of resilience into your theme — backed by professional sound, lighting and cultural briefings.
